Geboren 1966 in New York, studierte Di Giorgio am New Yorker Mannes College of Music. Anschließend war er als Dozent an der Long Island Universität (Brooklin N.Y.) im Einsatz und leitete dort die Masterklasse im Smalls Jazz Club; durch seine umfangreiche Erfahrung als Privatlehrer konnte der Musiker die von ihm benannte und auf Waynes Lehren gegründete Konservatorium-Methode für die Moderne Plektrum-Gitarre entwickeln. Seit 2006 ist er als Jazz-Gitarrist - auch für Jazz-Theorie, Harmonielehre und Improvisation - im Konservatorium Klagenfurt beschäftigt.
